Reading: Johnny Bunko — The Last Career Guide you´ll ever need

I had fun reading “Johnny Bunko — The Last Career Guide you´ll ever need” by Daniel H. Pink. Pink, the author of A Whole New Mind, a book that I strongly recommend has done a great job together with Rob Ten Pas.

Pink shows that the few principles below will help  you to become succesful in what you want to do with you life:

  1. There is no plan
  2. Think strengths, not weaknesses
  3. It’s not about you
  4. Persistence trumps talent
  5. Make excellent mistakes
  6. Leave an imprint.

It is a fun read. It is a comic in manga style and the beauty of the book lies in its pictures. The story is nice to read, nothing really new but the way it is presented tops most career advisors.

The bullet points above are not enough to get the insights but maybe it gives you enough to check it out. You can see a bit more on the Website of Johnny Bunko.
